Forest of Dean, March 2026

Photographs taken during a 4-day trip to the Forest of Dean, with David Rosair of Island Ventures. We visited a number of locations, including the village of Parkend, the New Fancy view point, the Nags Head reserve, the RSPB Newport Wetlands and Goldcliff lagoons, the Dean Heritage Centre (on a particularly wet and windy day), and Symonds Yat.

The weather was distinctly mixed, with blustery rain. The mud, though, at the Newport Wetlands, was not as deep as we had feared.
