Bodmin Moor, April 2026

A day out on Bodmin Moor, with Sue and Peter Bumby. The original focus was Kerdroya, a 56m-diameter labyrinth (as distinct from a maze), constructed from traditional Cornish Hedging - stone banks with an earth infill, in a formr car park next to Colliford Lake. We went on to Blisland, for lunch at the Blisland Inn - a friendly traditional pub - and the Church of St Protus and St Hyacinth in the village. Then on to the Trippet Stones, high on Bodmin Moor.

Helped no end by fabulous (if rather windy) weather, and amazing blue skies.

Finally on to Pencarrow House for tea and yet more bluebells.
