The Acropolis
One of the best-known tourist sites in Athens, with ancient temples and other buildings. The views over the city are amazing, but the number of tourists a bit daunting.
The Ancient Agora
Our favourite site in Athens - the old market. The Stoa (colonnade) is a reconstruction, but there are remarkably well-preserved 5000 year-old buildings.
