Wales Birds, July 2015

Photographs of birds from a trip to mid- and north-Wales in July 2015. We visited four locations:

• The Dyfi Osprey Project, near Machynlleth, where three chicks were about to fledge;
• Bwlch Nant yr Arian, near Aberystwyth, for the daily feeding of the red kites;
• The Glaslyn Ospreys. The osprey nest here is too far from the visitor centre for photography, but there was a brood of sparrow fledglings;
• South Stack on Anglesey, where we saw Choughs and Peregrine Falcons.
